Will Dawn and Sue be the photographers for our wedding?
Yes, we are the sole photographers and do not contract our services out.
What type of wedding photographer do you consider yourself.
We consider ourselves as a mixture of photojournalism and traditional photographers.
Do you use black and white film when photographing in black and white?
We shoot in digital color. Which can be transformed to black and white or sepia.
What are your criteria for choosing what you would photograph at my wedding?
We are there to capture as many of the Lifelong memories we can. We do not count the photographs we keep shooting as long as you hire us to do so.
What makes your photographs better or different than anybody else's?
We have to start this question by saying there are many very great photographers. This is why we know it is a great honor to be hired by you! We believe what makes us unique is we are mother and daughter who knows what you are going though. We have the passion to find the photographs we know you want to keep for the rest of your lives. Our full of life yet professional attitudes show in our photographs. Since there are two of us we both can cover more of your wedding. Yet we both have many different views thus giving you more verity.
What time do you arrive to setup your equipment?
We will schedule the best time when we consult with you and are able to have a clear understanding as to what you want and need from us to make your day complete.
What equipment do you shoot with? Do you bring backup equipment with you?
We both work with Canon EOS Digital 40D and backups if needed. Lenses which might be used are Canon EF 28-135mm 1:3.5-5.6, Canon 85mm f/1.8,Canon 18- 55mm f/3.5,Tamron SP AF 17-50 mm f/2.5,Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8,Sigma 70- 300mm f/4,Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8
Do you provide a written contract?
Yes. All weddings will be signed by both the Bride and Groom and at least on photographer from Lifelong Photography. This assures that both parties are in agreement with all terms.
How many people will cover the event?
All weddings and events are covered by two photographers
What are your policies regarding proofs?
All events include an online proofing. All photos which we at Lifelong Photography consider the best photos will be posted within four weeks of your event.
Is a deposit required? If so, how much?
Yes. Lifelong Photography requires a $200.00 deposit to book your event. Your deposit will be applied towards your package
May I make partial payments?
Yes. You may make as many or as little payments as you would like as long as your event is paid in full within one week of your event.
What percentage are the taxes?
In Washington state the tax amount is determined by the location’s tax rate.
How many weddings will you be covering on the day of my wedding?
We at Lifelong Photography have a one day one wedding policy.
